Der Hauptfocus ist zurzeit auf mittelalterlichen Burgen und Ruinen.

Dieses Projekt habe ich angefangen als ich feststellte, dass man viele dieser wunderschönen Anlagen nicht mehr besucht da man gar nicht weis, dass diese exisiteren.

Es gibt zwar ca. 3 Top Webseiten über Burgen mit Wegbeschreibungen und allem. Aber oftmals musste ich feststellen, dass diese Beschreibungen ziemlich schlecht waren. Zum Beispiel... an Schrebergärten vorbei... in dieser Ortschaft gibt es aber mindestens 8 solche Plätze mit Schrebergärten. Oder Wegbeschriebe wo man z. B. über 1 Stunde lang laufen muss bis zur Ruine... dabei hätte man von einer anderen Ortschaft aus noch Parkplätze unmittelbar in der Nähe der Anlage.

Da ich aufgrund einer Sportverletzung immer noch Mühe habe lange Distanzen zu fahren und zu laufen fährt meist mein Freund das Auto. Ohne Ihn wäre dieses Projekt so nicht möglich... Herzlichen Dank!

Dies ist auch der Grund weshalb mir gute Wegbeschreibungen auch so wichtig sind. Wenn sowieso jeder Schritt schmerzt ist es natürlich ärgerlich in die falsche Richtung zu laufen... diese Erfahrung möchte ich anderen Leuten ersparen...

Ausserdem waren die Fotos die man Online fand für einige Burgen nicht interessant. Man kriegt nicht das Intersse diese aufzusuchen wenn man solche Fotos sieht. Doch wenn man diese dann selbst besucht ist man dann plötzlich erstaunt was da alles eigentlich noch vorhanden ist.

Am Schluss wird es dann ein Buch oder mehrere Bücher über diese Burgen, Ruinen und Schlösser, etc. geben... aber das kann noch dauern...

The main focus is currently on medieval castles and ruins...

I begun with this project once I noticed, that many of these beautiful places are no longer visited since nobody knows that they exist.

There are about 3 very good webpages about castles with way descriptions and everything. But often I had to notice, that these descriptions were very bad. For example... Go past the allotment gardens... but in this village there were at least 8 such places with allotment gardens. Or way descriptions where one had to walk over 1 hour to reach the ruin... while there were car parking spots in another village which were very close to the ruin.

Due to the fact that I still suffer from a sport injury I have trouble driving and walking long distances. This is the reason my boyfriend drives the car most of the time. Without him this project would not be possible... Thank you!

This is also the reason why good way descriptions are extremely important to me. When anyway every step hurts it is obviously annoying to walk in the wrong direction... this experience I want to spare other people from...


Furthermore there were pictures online for some castles which were not very great. When viewing them one did not get interested in visiting. But when I visited them myself I was amazed that there was so much left of the castles.

In the end I plan to write a book or several books about these castles and ruins...but this will still take a while....
